Almost studio time...
So we are back in the studio next weekend, we are focused, ready to get these tracks down and also have a great time with our good friend Dan (aka The Bus Pass Kid / Uncle Fudd).
Just so you know, we don't track instruments when we record.Everything you hear on our record is recorded (as it used to be done by our hero's) 100% LIVE. We have always believed there is a certain aura about recordings prior to the mid 70's so we made a collective decision very early on to try our best to capture that same feeling. So for the past few weeks we have been getting these new tunes to a stage where we go in and record within a couple of takes.
We went over these tunes a few times again last night, and we love them very very happy. But we now have 3 more that are almost ready to go as well, so could well be back in the studio a lot quicker than we expected.
Got to be honest, I love being in the recording studio, it really is a special place to me. Always seem to focus up another few levels, and then to hear back to a much better standard what you created and been playing for a few months, is just an amazing feeling. Add to that the comfortable and relaxed atmosphere that Dan create's just makes for an amazing experience.
In fact if you would like to see Dan at work, you can see him starring in our video for Red Light Dreamin (which was filmed by the fantastic ZMO Productions http://www.zmoproductions.co.uk/ )
