Recorded !!!

Well its done, and we are more than happy...

Album number two is in our mind, 100% completed and now being mastered as I am typing this update.

We had an absolute ball being back in the studio with our good friend Uncle Fudd / Bus Pass Kid aka Danny Mitchell. As ever, he had many new idea's to aid what we were wanting to achieve. Even on hearing the first playback we could both hear a big difference on these new recordings, bigger, bolder, and a fuller sound...exciting

The songs couldn't have gone better. However, one was the first time we had ever heard it back and had to rework what we believed was the perfect sound, but within 10-15 minutes we were back in the same frame of mind again. A slight change made the world of difference. What I will say the work we put in for the last 3 months (with no live gigs - which was very hard) really paid off. We nailed these tunes to the best we know we could.

A couple of weeks time we hope to have the mastered tracks completed, so then we can move on to the next stage of the process. A designer is working away on our idea's for album artwork, and again hopefully when mastered tracks are back artwork should also be in our hands.

This stage of the process does get a bit tedious with lots of dotting i's and crossing t's, paperwork up to our eyes and uploading a lot of material here there and everywhere. Once we get through this stage then its plain sailing to enjoy playing these tracks live all over the place, but a few weeks before we get to this stage.

Hoping to announce some gigs very soon, and once we are through next stage in album process maybe another wee update.

ps most of the songs recorded have been played live, so if you have seen any of our shows to latter part of 2012 then you have a heads up on others, but there are a couple of absolutely brand new tracks in the mix.
