Weekend update

We have a great gig coming up in Edinburgh in a little over a weeks time, where we play Sneaky Pete's supporting one man punk blues enigma that is Bob Log III

Details can be found on our event page here.

Also got some exciting news coming up for November, that....I just can't say yet what is happening, desperate to but just can't, for now.

Anyway, thank you thank you thank you, as we have now sold all our allocation of tickets for our support slot at King Tuts where we will be building the crowd into a frenzy for Marcus Bonfanti. But fret not, we were able to secure a second run of tickets and will be collecting them very soon. And yes, we will continue to offer all our blog followers the cheap option to buy them.

Details for this can be found on this event page here

Maybe another West Lothian gig to be announced before the festive period kicks in (whoop whoop)....

Have a great weekend folks, we are going to with some Spanish Tapa's and lots of red wine

Keepin it dixie y'all

What a great month...

We have had a blast, and in doing so helped raise almost £3,500 for 3 very well deserving charities at two gigs. So first of all to both venues thank you for allowing your place to host such events, Dreadnought Rock in Bathgate & McChuils Glasgow, we doff our hat to you good sirs.

Dreadnought was a top night with Gary Burns and The White Russians playing alongside ourselves, and at McChuils we were playing with Matt the lead singer from Brownbear (who were just off the European tour support of The Libertines no less) and amazing singer. We were able to play our 2 new tunes, and good to see the crowd reaction being as excited about them as ourselves.

McChuils

Two tour supports during November to let you know about

We are now confirmed as support to the enigma that is Bob Log III @ Sneaky Pete's Edinburgh, on Monday 3rd November (ticket details on our event page).

And along with Glasgow trio Manky Savage we are both supporting Marcus Bonfanti at King Tuts, Glasgow on Friday 28th November (ticket details on our event page).

An honour to get the nights going on these two gigs.

October has been great, November going to be even better.

Keep it Dixie y'all

Marcus Bonfanti

We now have a limited amount of cut price tickets available, as a way of thank you for the support we have received all over the gigs throughout Scotland this past year.

A  Friday night at King Tuts is always a great night, and we plan to make it even better. A couple of surprises, old tunes, new tunes and even a cover...then of course we have the amazing Marcus Bonfanti as headline act - what is not to love ?

More news coming soon, exciting times

September, some upcoming gigs...

As promised we have info on two charity gigs we are taking part in during October, AND very proud to announce a cracking support slot that we know has our mouth watering...so please read on for details

1) Friday 3rd October, we are taking part in a night in aid of The Tree Club, Bathgate (which unfortunately had its budget cut last year from the very top). It provides an invaluable service to enable kids of all abilities to take part in many activities. Also we have close friends whose son attends this great club, so it does mean a lot to us personally. http://www.thetreeclub.org.uk/

So the gig itself will take place at one of Scotlands greatest and oldest rock venues Dreadnought, Bathgate from 7.30pm. With a solo set from former lead singer of Dead Sea Souls Gary Burns, a set from ourselves and finishing off with a rock set from The White Russians. All in all it is going to be a very busy night. Ticket details on poster, or on a first come first served basis at the door. All door money is going to the charity, and hoping for a couple of nice prizes for a raffle between changeovers.

2) Saturday 11th October, we are involved in a gig at legendary Glasgow pub McChuils. The line up of acts that are playing is still being kept under wraps for now, but we have been given permission to let you all know that we will be taking part. It is completely FREE ENTRY but there will be a donations bucket where two charities will be benefiting from the generosity of the good people of Glasgow - which never fail to amaze. From 3pm till late...more details coming nearer the time

3) Friday 28th November, absolutely delighted to be asked to support Marcus Bonfanti at one of the most famous venues in all of Christendom, Glasgow's King Tuts. We have followed this artist since he played guitar for Saint Jude and released 'Diary of a Soul Fiend' in 2010. Then onto his solo material, his seen his own star shine brighter year on year. We know we will provide a great crowd warm up prior to what will be undoubtedly a cracking set. We will have a limited amount of discounted tickets for you lucky people, that will be available to purchase from our own website from this Friday. We anticipate a high demand, and have already sold almost half our allocation through word of mouth, so please drop us a message or look out for the link going live on Friday. Here is a video to whet your appetite.

A quick update on new music on our front. We have two tunes completely finished called Hats Off (To The River Men) and To The North, that we have incorporated into these new upcoming sets. And a few more tunes that are really taking shape. All are sounding very exciting to our ears, and cannot wait to let you all hear as well.
