King Tuts December 2012

Thank you for a great send off to 2012 !!!

Our last gig of this year was an absolute pleasure to be a part of. Front of house sound, and on stage sound was just top notch thank you very much to Chris (the sound enginner) for his stellar work with all four bands.

For everyone who has followed us this year, and everyone who has came to any or all of our gigs, we owe you a lot, so thank you everyone. You guys are the reason we keep making the tunes. Yes it is all well and good creating music that we both love to listen to, but it is so heart warming when you can see the reaction on people's faces that have never heard us before, then winning them over on stage. Last night was one of those nights...

Setting up quickly on stage, a quick line check, it is easy to see people's faces wondering what the hell is coming here...then by the second song to see new friends bouncing along to our groove's, is honestly very humbling, but gives you a massive glow in your soul. Thank you very much for making two music lovers very happy.

What we thought was outstanding last night, was the amount of people who came out last night to enjoy live music in a truly inspiring venue. Also the quality of crowd was (as always in Tuts) top notch. Some of our tunes have moments of quiet & loud, you can hear a pin drop until it goes ballistic and the the crowd comes with us, beautiful. When the chance to whoop, holler, stomp & boogey comes along the King Tuts crowd grab's it with both hands. It is so easy to stay in on a Sunday night 9 days before Xmas, but to have that level of support was great for every band, thank you one and all.

So, what next ?

Well our immediate plans is to finish recording album number 2. No more gigs until it is in the can for us. We have 4 tunes recorded now (3 are making the cut for sure), we have another 4 ready to record, 2 more we are working on, and one that has been on the back burner for the last year or so - but as it is completely different from our usual vibe we have been reluctant to add it in, you never know...

All that is left to say is thank you all for your continued support this past year, have a great festive period, and a fantastic New Year. Next year could be very special indeed.
