The Caves - 1st December

G'day all,

What a great night we had supporting Aynsley Lister @ The Caves in Edinburgh. Easily one of our favourite venue's that we hope to be back again to play at some point next year. The whole vibe of the place is just right, the history, acoustics, staff, & crowd only make know (when you arrive there) that something special is going to happen.

We certainly both loved every minute on stage, & off. John the in house sound enginner is one of the best we have had the pleasure in working with, certainly knows his 'onions', top notch. It was maybe a bit cramped with us having our gear in front of Aynsely's but hey, didn't hamper our playing or great on stage sound.

The crowd at The Caves are all very respectful of every song we played, and gave us a helluva lot of amazing feedback afterwards (also a bonus we sold some more albums, thanks for that).

What hasn't been said about Aynsley Lister, the guy is one of the best guitar players that this country has ever produced. Him & his band are so tight, and hard working, as they are continually touring all over europe - wonder if he'll head up to Wick, as requested by a crowd member hee hee - they certainly deserve much more fame than he currently holds. If anything his guitar playing is better than Joe Bonamassa, although they are both around the same age, suppose its just Joe is American in the UK, rather than a Brit doing almost the same thing right on our door step. So if you get the chance to see Aynsley Lister don't miss out.
