Hello you lovely people,
What can I say, but its good to be back…we haven’t really gone away, but taking a small break from playing live gave us more time to focus on new tunes and glad to say we are very excited about what we have achieved, so far…
Anyway, more exciting news very soon but the reason for reaching out to you all now is something we are over the moon to be involved with.
SATURDAY 16th FEBRUARY we are supporting the Grammy nominated Cedric Burnside playing at McChuills in Glasgow
Also on the bill is Glasgow band Hicks
Now an artist in his own right, emerging from the huge shadow of his drum kit where he sat for his “Big Daddy” grandfather RL Burnside. His first album with Lightnin Malcolm as part of the 2 Man Wrecking Crew was a statement of where he was going. 10 years later as a Grammy nominated artist for last years album Benton County Relic. Played at the 2018 Edinburgh Blues Festival (as did Dixie Fried).
If you know anything about Dixie Fried as a band, then RL Burnside has had a MASSIVE influence on where we come from style wise. Hill Country Blues music is our foundation, and where we build all our tunes from. In fact the album Burnside on Burnside still remains as one of our very favourite live albums.

Over the moon to be playing our first ever gig in Armadale !!!
Sounds a bit strange seeing as we both live within 2 miles of the town, but its the truth. Opportunity has never came up, so very glad to announce we are part of the first ever gig in the Partnership Centre.
Tickets on the door for only £5 for 6 cracking bands
There is a bar on site, and expecting to be rammed.
Come on down and support a brand new event, if it goes well then a very good chance that more local music could be coming to West Lothian SUPPORT LIVE MUSIC (is something we like to thank every person who comes to all our shows)
Tickets available on this link HERE
Keep up to date with any news on the gig on the facebook event page right HERE
We are playing a special in-store gig on Sunday 11th February in the fantastic vinyl store in Ayr, Big Sparra Vinyl
Also playing on the same afternoon is Long Day Living and Erin Bennett
This is a very intimate affair, and 100% FREE ENTRY.
Big Sparra Vinyl has been selling our latest record 'On Sunburst And Thump' - which we will be re-stocking on the day as well. Seem to be people with a very good taste in music in Ayr, as this will be our FOURTH time of stocking since the start of December...thank you all
We have the great pleasure in warming up the Glasgow leg of the relentless Bob Log III when he plays Nice N Sleazy's. Small venue so will be lots of hot sweaty beats getting deep down and dirty
