April report card for 2015...

What a few months we have had here in the Dixie Fried shack, its been an absolute blast for us both.

From taking 2 months out to work on new material, complete 2 tracks then play them during our March tour to great response, complete a third and almost there with number 4. Yes, safe to say those 2 months certainly worked for us.

March was full of gigs all over Scotland, which has led to more bookings later in the year (again everywhere), 2 summer festivals confirmed and 3 almost (fingers crossed) able to announce very soon. We sold loads of cd's on those dates, leaving us only 4 of our first album and a couple of dozen on our second (just a couple of tee-shirts left as well). Think we travelled over 1000 miles during March with everyone being completely worthwhile. Loved hearing a lot of new music from some great new music, and also some old friends as well.

Last weekend found ourselves back at one of our favourite venues in Scotland, the infamous King Tuts. Where we were able to support one of Scotland's stalwarts of the live music scene, the notorious Dave Arcari. The crowd were superb, but then again Saturday night and King Tuts is what live music is made for. Dave put on a show full of energy, blues, and swagger as he bounced all over the stage. We weren't the only support, and lucky enough to hear Glasgow's Proud Honey for the first time, blew us away with an amazing sound. It is safe to say we aim to cross both Proud Honey and Dave Arcari's path again soon, and hopefully share a stage once more.

We have added some images to the gallery page from Saturdays gig, please click here to find them near the bottom

Thank you for your continued support

Come and get a little Dixie fried

Krafty Brew, Edinburgh

Very pleased to be going to Edinburgh to play, and this time it really is a special wee gig with 2 special acts. A very limited audience will get to see Cousin Kenny, Gary Burns and ourselves from 7pm on Friday 24th April.

Get in touch as there is a bus leaving from West Lothian that will bring you all back as well.

This is happening the day before we play in the UK's best small venue King Tuts Glasgow, supporting Dave Arcari. We still have a small amount available for much cheapness
